8 Simple Steps to Creating a Positive Life

Attitude plays a major role in how good or not-so-good your circumstance can be.

A bit of positive thinking can help you realize things that you never thought possible. I realized that once I switched up the directions that I was allowing my brain to go, things in my world began to change for the better. 

These are 8 Simple Steps to Creating a Positive Life

  1. Erase negative talk from your vocabulary

That means, when you feel the urge to comment negatively on something that you see online, squash it. When you look in the mirror and spot a breakout coming on, smile and reach for the toothpaste. 

When your best friend calls with another piece of juicy gossip, don’t engage. 

Resist the ‘need’ to talk smack about anything, and everything. 

2. Take passionate action towards living your life by design.

Talk is cheaper than dirt.

Action = deposits in the bank of an authentic future. Without it, passion is useless.

This is a perfect example of what dreams are made of, where you start by tinkering with your mind, then with your hands. And if the idea weakens, you can always go back to it later until you finish it.

3. Commit yourself to creating a life you love.

Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear.

The American Dream will always be there, but a dream will stay a dream if you don’t take action. Get to it and watch the transformation begin!

4. Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome.

Every time you hit on something that may appear too extreme, why not give it a shot and see if it will work? You’ll be surprised to see of there are other ways to get the task done in time. If you’re not happy with the outcome, use that moment to learn from it, and make the appropriate shift.

5. Live completely in a place of gratitude.

Learn to utilize what you have in your hands and make use of it in the most constructive way.

Slipping into neediness will be less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness.

6. Use a Passion Formula of Recognize/Reevaluate/Restore in place of the Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda whirlwind.

The former is based in increased knowledge and abundance, while the latter focuses on scarcity and lack.

As you face people or tasks that seem harder than scaling the summit of the Himalayas, allow yourself to realize that the task is just as important as giving out orders to your subordinates.

7. Keep humor at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself whenever possible.

You might find that you’re pretty entertaining when you loosen up!

I’ve yet to see a comedian go hungry even though his jokes are as ‘old as Methuselah’.

Life has too much to offer to allow you to mope around in self pity. Humor is very attractive, passionate and life-giving.

8. Believe that you are the Creator of your own destiny.

No one can take your passionate future away from you except for you!

Create your life authentically. As long as there’s still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime.

The concept of thinking big is all about enjoying your work, which would lead to celebrating a discovery that is born in your hands.

Watch everything fall into place with perfect, passionate precision.
